Tesla Model Y Starlight Roof Designed for the Panoramic Glass Roof

The Tesla Model Y panoramic glass roof gives the cabin an open and modern feeling, but many owners also want more shade, privacy, and nighttime atmosphere. LGK Auto Styling’s Smart Retractable Starlight Sunshade is designed to provide all three without permanently altering the original glass roof.

The vehicle-specific system follows the shape and mounting structure of the Tesla Model Y roof. It does not require drilling or cutting the panoramic glass or original headliner. A trained installer may temporarily remove selected interior trim to route the power connection, after which the trim is restored to its original position.

When the sunshade is open, passengers can continue to enjoy the panoramic glass roof. When it is closed, the premium soft-touch panel reduces direct sunlight and transforms into a full-color starlight display.

Depending on the selected version, available effects include adjustable brightness, multiple colors, breathing modes, meteor effects, sound-responsive lighting, and full-color dynamic patterns. Controls may include a physical button, remote control, mobile app, and supported English voice commands.

Because the system is delivered fully assembled, installation normally takes approximately 30～60 minutes after the vehicle’s model year and configuration have been verified.

LGK Auto Styling is initially focusing on Tesla Model Y applications while developing fitment data for additional vehicle brands and models.
